Pencil, Ruler, Paper!

On March 8, 2015, I met up with my mentor for the third time today. We talked about how to sketch and draw out the layout of a room. It could be a living room, full house, bathroom, bedroom, & etc. She showed me different sketches that she had done in the past in college. She showed me the basic techniques of how to carefully manage the spacing of the room and how to develop it to suite your mood. My mentor told me to do a simple project and that project was to design any room that I would like. I choice a bedroom. She then told me to list out the thing that I would need to make that room perfect! Such as a window, closet, bed, furniture, and many more. Most importantly I have to carefully concentrate on my color choices. Weather if I'm trying to make it look dark or bright inside. Then I have to think about the spacing of the room. We don't want it to be too crowed inside. I can not wait to show you how I vision my design! I am very excited to challenge myself. Plus, she said we can make it 3-D once I'm done sketching it out with actual tiny products. Also, I really want to get  some feedbacks once I'm done so I can improve more and more!

I spent 2 1/2 hours with my mentor today
Total time spent: 14 1/2 hours
